Student Seminars, Webinars and Workshops

Soundcheck facilitates interactive sessions with students covering a range of developmentally appropriate topics. Discussions, education and activities are designed to support healthy development and decision making. We have facilitated prevention programs and dialogue in over one hundred independent and international schools, and our staff are in long-term recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction. Their vast experience in the classroom and on school campuses throughout the world, their personal stories of addiction and recovery, and their ability to connect with students make for engaging classroom discussion and learning.

Topics include:

  • Mixed messaging, myths, and facts about substances such as nicotine, alcohol, and cannabis

  • Healthy ways to cope with stresses and pressures of high school life

  • Steps for making decisions and setting healthy boundaries

  • Identifying challenges and supports that influence wellbeing

  • Social norms and cultural influences

  • Media literacy
